Turn any photo into a “one of a kind” digital oil painting art design

 Digital painting is a technique for creating digital art on a computer. As a way of creating an art object it adapts traditional painting medium such as oil, ink, watercolor, etc and applies the pigment to traditional bases such as canvas or paper by means of painting software. This software contains many instruments that do not exist outside the computer and which give digital artworks a different look and feel from an artwork that is made the traditional way.

My digital paintings are created using Corel Painter 12 worked in layers with various brushes and brush strokes. Once the layers are completed colors are enhanced to bring out the dimension of the picture.        

Custom family digital oil paintings can be done "just for you" with your favorite family or wedding photos. Just visit my Etsy Shop, click on the "Request Custom Order" box and send a message with any ideas that you would like to see included in the design.  You can send photos in digital format or just drop them in the mail.  I will scan them and return to you unharmed.

The design is printed on 90 lb. fine art paper with archival ink and sealed for color permanence. The painting will be 6”x8” with a 1” white border ready for your 8”x 10” frame or an 8”x10” mat for an 11”x14” frame. You will also receive the digital file so you can have additional prints made if so desired.

Each print is signed and dated on the back by me, the artist, with a statement of authenticity. The artist retains all copyrights.
